Memory Lane

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

I have alot of memories obviously with you as well because you are my sister. But, I think one of the memories I am going to pick is when we used to work at Valtek together with Marianne. That was one of my funnest jobs I have EVER had. I remember we used to work until like 2am and it wasn't because we were working it was because we were having a blast with all the guys who worked there. And I loved it that we had nicknames for all the guys. It was so much fun getting in all the trouble that we did too for some reason. And then, teasing Brett (not my Brett) the security guard. We had him fooled on some things that I won't mention but it sure was fun teasing him. It was so fun to get pictures with everyone too and I made such good money for a 14year old. And the singing in the bathrooms Beeeaauuuty aaaannnddd thhhhee Beeeaaasssttt!!! Wow...those were some fun times!!!

I have lots of memories as well, but one of my first of you is when you came to my house and saw my dad for the first time and thought he was cute. I was totally disgusted by the whole thing, but couldn't wait to tell him. Probably a mistake that I told him because he thought it was pretty cool that one of my friends thought he was cute.

I remember when you and Jeff were dating you would let me and Janean hang out with you guys all the time. We had so much fun with you! I also remember making you and Jeff kiss for the first time. I don't think that you nd Jeff would have ever kissed if it weren't for us j/k.

I don't have any early memories about you but I do remember that you always had lots of guy friends. I think that is probrably where I learned to flirt, is from my big sister Stephanie! :)

One thing I remember was when you and Janean worked at Valtek and you guys bought everyone presents because you made such good money. You bought me and Janet big white hair bows. I thought that was so cool, I wanted to grow up and make lots of money so I could buy people presents too.

Really anytime I'm with you we have a good time! Even if we're just doing bills. I really love when you go on "girls only" trips (except we take our kids).

I really look up to you and Jeff. You are two amazing people who are very selfless and are always thinking about others and what you can do to help them out. I have alot of good memories with you, and your family!

When Me and Rich had pretty much just started dating and I came to hear him speak in Sacrament Meeting and then went to your Mom's house for lunch afterwards (your Dad asked me to say the prayer on the food and I was thinking "did he seriously just ask ME to pray)? Anyway you invited me to go to Las vegas with you guys and I was so excited to go.
I remember watching you with your kids and thinking "she is a great Mom. I don't remember any specifics but you are always so loving and I was totally impressed.
You are probably one of the most selfless people I have ever met, so giving and concerned about other people needs and feelings. I really admire you.

My favorite memory about you is recent - just because we have recently gotten to know each other. :) Anyway, I think I'd have to say that the memory that sticks out to me is when we get ready to do push-ups. You seriously crack me up because you hate them so much! It's so humorous to me that it just makes me want to keep having you do them so I can have a good chuckle. :)

I don't think I have one particular memory. I just remember all the times our family has gotten together & the good times we have. I also know what a good Mom you are & I have always admired that about you. I also appreciate your support of things I have gone through & how you don't judge me at all. Overall I remember you as a good person & I really look up to you. That's my memory :)

I think the thing that sticks out in my mind is not a particular memory so much as the way you acted toward me. I felt right at home with your sarcastic attitude. Thank you for making me feel loved!

I remember when we first moved here I was really shy, and didn't really talk to anyone. (sadly I am still that way, I am working on it) Anyhow a few months after we had moved in you came over in this great big red truck, kickin it total Spanish Fork style and introduced yourself to us. I thought you were so nice, and you were the only person who had come and met us other than Bro. Powers. I thought it was really nice, and that you were so nice and I really admired that you were brave enough to do that. I could never do that.

Another really good memory is of you just a few weeks ago when you got that waterslide and you sat there watching the kids having fun. I loved the way you watched them so happy that they were happy. You are a good mom.

Well Steph, we have been friends since fourth grade. My heavens we are getting old! I remember burying one of our favorite charms off our charm necklaces in between some bushes on the side of your grandparents yard. I wonder if they are still there? Being mean to cats, oh boy did we have it out for cats. I still think they are nasty. I remember taking the shortcut behind that old guys house that lived on the corner and being scared because we thought he kept dead bodies down in his cellar to eat, and also that he had a UFO in his old shed. I remember us peeing behind the shed next to the raspberries, and how we could say bad words if we use quotation marks. I also remember the rollerskating roads we made with sidewalk chalk all the way around the block. I remember that you were a pretty darn good little pincher! We were both brats, so I think we were good for each other. Thanks for still being a great friend, and for the wonderful example you have been for me all these years. I love ya!
